Not consciously though even one nomination for Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet ( I refuse to call it William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet) is one too many IMO.

Also, I know it's just a special citation, but under our rules, isn't Dead Man a 1995 film (commercial release in Japan late that year, while Miramax still was trying to figure out what the hell to do with an arty black-and-white Western stateside)?

It played in most countries during 1995 and had a U.S. release during 1996. I guess it's not eligible for this game.
