While I totally agree with you about Dreyfuss - even he gave a much better performance than the one he won for that same year - I'll have to disagree about Brody. His is one of the best performances ever to win this category and he towered over the big-names competition. Along with Affleck's, it's the best win of at least the past 30 years.
