Can't do any better than Anonymous' predictions.

I do think they will make room for Avatar: The Way of Water but I can't figure out which film it will replace, possibly Elvis which would have been a no-brainer in Musical or Comedy.

They will definitely nominate Brendan Fraser even though he says he won't due to past injustices, but I'm not so sure about Tom Cruise who gave back his three statuettes. There are plenty of other actors they could nominate instead including Michael Ward (Empire of Light) and Jeremy Pope (The Inspection).

Other lead acting categories seem tight. Could be a surprise or two in supporting. I really don't think Jamie Lee Curtis did anything award worthy in Everything Everywhere All at Once, but they will nominate her for sure out of gratitude for being the only major star who showed up last year. the other hand, I'm not sure the early hype for Judd Hirsch will carry through to a nomination here or at the Oscars. Either he or Paul Dano might be upset by someone we're not thinking of.
