Comes down to a vote between The Thin Red Line and There Will Be Blood. I think I like the poeticism of the Malick over the brute force of the Anderson.

We have now reached a period through which the UAADB discussed these years in real time. Should be interesting.

I'm voting for Brokeback Mountain, still the most shocking Oscar loser of the bunch, only a couple of which were actual Oscar winners.
