I thought it was the next to last show, but, I agree, her reaction was too much. These things happen all the time. Ushers should be on the lookout for these occurrences and know how to deal with them.

Patti LuPone stopped the final number of the final show of the recent revival of Gypsy to lash out at an audience member who took a picture; audio here.

Aside from the fact that her slurring of the lyrics is reprehensible, her behavior was, to me, appalling: yeah, I understand the patron was an idiot and rude, but you stop the show, go to the stage manager, request the person be removed, you don't turn into Cruella deVil--but, then, it wouldn't be about Patti, would it?
