We're celebrating five years without a wipe.

Wait Wes, I'm confused. We're celebrating a wipe out? So...five years means wood or silverware?

Many of you may not remember or care, but I think it's rather momentous. As of the beginning of February, it has been five years since we had an entire wipe loss of the UAADB.

For those who've been around awhile, there were frustrations several years ago when, due to some internal board transitions and other errors, the UAADB lost a sizable amount of data. The last major data loss (namely everything) occurred at the beginning of February in 2003.

So, whether you think this is an impressive and auspicious event, I thought I'd still like to celebrate it even after the fact.
