Funny you should mention the year 1944 because coincidently I watched Lifeboat (1944) first thing this morning. Going by your ''rule'', I should have instead watched something from 1924 - maybe Romola - because I feel like I'm 24 years old instead of 44!

As it was a Saturday, I took the day off from work (yes we work 6 days a week in Pakistan) but still ended up at the bank. The guys ended up bringing out three cakes to celebrate. Later had to wade through more cake at teatime as there were more celebrations with the family followed by a chinese dinner at a restaurant. Just got back (almost midnight here now).

Anyway thanks to all you guys (my online, long distance ''family'') for your wishes.

Cheers!
