New BAFTA Rules

Longlists are back but expect some more unusual nominees in acting and directing (and there will be 6 nominations in those categories). The big change is that juries will select the nominees so I expect there to be least one minority in each of those categories and at least one female director too.
The only other category to use jury selection is Casting, so it is more for show than for actual "diversity."
At least it isn't as bad as their TV awards where the broadcasters basically choose the nominees.
