1: Replace Queen Latifah with Miranda Richardson in Spider
2A: Replace the Catch Me If You Can Score with Spirited Away
2B: Preserve Far From Heaven in Best Cinematography
3: Replace Gangs of New York with Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones in Best Costume Design (The Movie may not be so good, but the Costume Design was just great in all Star Wars movies!)

NOthing stands out for me here, I can't rescue Hackman, and I feel MASH needs an acting nod, so put Donald Sutherland in there.

Replace Gene Hackman (supporting? really?) with Roy Scheider in Puzzle of a Downfall Child.

Hustler's not around, let's go to Sabin with two slots remaining, both in Supporting Actor.

I. Faye Dunaway's wonderful supporting turn in Little Big Man replaces Sally Kellerman's in M*A*S*H.
Dunaway is no our first double acting nominee in one year!

It's not really off the wall, but it probably is for a game where Airport and Ryan's Daughter are Best Picture nominees and Ryan's Daughter is going to have the most nominations.

Holly famously said "If I'm wearing pants, call me a man. If I'm wearing a dress, call me a cab!" Since she was definitely wearing a dress and was, in fact, the film's "leading lady" despite his/her actual gender, let's go with the Best Actress citation.

This year has really gone down the shitter. So I'll have some fun and go with a somewhat off the wall selection: Best Supporting Actor, replace Richard Castellano with Holly Woodlawn in Trash. And if Supporting Actor is deemed the wrong category, bump Jane Alexander in Best Actress and put Holly there.
