1. Damages
2. Lost
3. Battlestar Galactica
4. American Idol
5. How I Met Your Mother

I wish for there to be more Wire and I never stop watching Law & Order repeats. 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, and Big Love I try to catch on DVD now. And if it weren't for DVR I would only be able to watch shows that could stand alone.

1. Friday Night Lights
2. Battlestar Galactica (this one is almost finished, but I still have several episodes on DVR.)
3. Good Eats
4. American Idol
5. Whatever TV Movie or Miniseries I happen to be watching. Most recently was Generation Kill. Or whatever series I happen to watch on DVD. The Office I usually catch up with on DVD. Or Law & Order repeats, but only from seasons 1-11, and 16-18. (Have only seen one or two from season 19 so far.) Sometimes Criminal Minds, which is much better than all of the CSI's, NCIS, and all of those acronym shows. Except for that annoying lady who sits at the computer and always finds exactly the information they need just in time to solve the crime.

Yes, I know we will get a lot of cable shows that we could never get here, but it might be kind of fun to see what everyone is *really* watching!
My favourite top-five current TV shows are not the least highbrow:
1. Friday Night Lights
2. Weeds
3. So You Think You Can Dance
4. America's Test Kitchen
5. Criminal Minds

So let's see yours....
