I know people with similar childhood bitterness against psychiatry, and certainly the drug thing is a serious issue. Hell, there are lots of problems with the field (just ask psychiatrists). But Tom's loathing seems to go too far...way over into, We must stop psychiatry and make everyone Scientolog...

You can't put Travolta anywhere on the plastic league of Cruise. Travolta has done a lot of strong work, emotional and layered since become a Scientologist in the late 70s/early 80s. The others I'll leave to a matter of taste (although I agree with most of them). Kidman was never a Scientologist. K...

Tom claims to be open to all religion and applauds those who are not judgmental about Scientology. But you really don't get the impression he's open-minded at all. Did you follow that fragment sentence about psychiatry and promiscuity at all? Listen, I absolutely believe we over medicate people and...

Okay, okay, before everyone starts going crazy with, "you're back", "you're back", let me explain. Last month Magilla ever so nicely wrote me and invited me to weigh on the Oscar season and I appreciated it, but I wasn't planning to until I realized I was talking my mother's ear...

I saw the first Left Behind film and I still can't figure out why I did. I usually avoid heavily spiritual films like the plague if I can help it. If you are tolerant of different religious beliefs and are not freaked out by weird spiritual ideals and theories, it is actually not a horrible film IM...

My brother asked me a couple of years ago if I had any guilty pleasure films. It took me awhile but the only two films I could come up with were UHF (the theme song being one of the songs I forgot on my favorite film songs list) and Spice World. I didn't give it much thought after that. Edited By B...
