Italy wasn't that bad. But it lacked two important things: efficiency and personality. When you lose so many chances you have noone to blame but yourself. And without Totti and Cannavaro the team is woefully short of leaders. Only Pirlo can carry the team, and until now he is having a very bad tour...

That's the difference between Obama and McCain. McCain doesn't have the same problem because, as you said, he isn't connected intimately with the controversial people who have supported him from time to time.

John Kerry may have meant something entirely different from what he said, and he may well have presented himself as the kind of person that he is not. But it would be very hard to tell that from the way he campaigned in 2004. It is true that politicians will be haunted by what they say and do, no m...

Mister Tee will have a field day with that:
Ed Koch: Obama Is A Sure Loser, Clinton Should Fight On
Interestingly, this is the same guy who was saying in 1992 that Bill Clinton was a sure loser against Bush.
One would have thought that after that he would be more cautious with his predictions.

Oscar Guy, altough an American you seem to follow your politics less closely than I do. Numerous polls has shown than in Clinton-McCain matchups she gets only 60-65% of African-Americans. And young voters have delivered so far for Obama. So it's far more probable that they will vote again for him i...

I said quite some time ago, that there was en electability issue with Obama and despite his ability to win in several more conservative states, he still can't match Clinton in the more populous ones, especially the key voting states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The below article goes into more detail ...

Just to be clear, what Todd wrote was in essence that the math is Obama's only ally right now. He also said that the superedelegates may be more eager to accept now Clinton's argument, that he has electability problems after the Wright sermons, but they just can't abandon him when he is so much ahe...

Well, regarding Obama, if you believe the ''experts'' he irrevocably lost the white vote thanks to those sermons, and he is going to lose Florida and Michigan because he opposes the seating of their delegations. Even some serious commentators, like Chuck Todd, said that were he not so much ahead in...

Considering the current state of the race, where Obama would be now the one left for dead were not for his big delegate lead, and Mister Tee's recollection of the 1992 primary, I searched for some more information regarding that year. I found this article ( Can Clinton Save his Candidacy? ) and I w...

Have you not seen the news that many shops in New York now prefer to be paid in Euros rather than dolars? Have you not heard that oil has reached 11...
