I've finished tabulating the results. The next and final polls will be for all-time best of the Oscar years.
I can hold off those polls for a few days, but the only way I'm going to notice additional votes or changes without going through all these threads one by one yet again is if the voter makes a comment or sends me a private message to bring it to my attention.

No, don't break ties. It's absurd. Leave people the time to get here and vote. There's no hurry - I mean, it's not there's a deadline or something like that.
So please go back to your original votes. Nobody should change his vote - it's meaningless.

With a four-way here for Apocalypse Now; Raging Bull; E.T. and Broadcast News, I reluctantly change my vote from E.T. to Raging Bull in order to break the tie.

Best Picture 1978-1987
A severe comedown from previous decades for me. I go with E.T., perhaps not the best film of the decade but one that is certainly more fun than any of the other choices except perhaps Broadcast News.
