The critics' groups come fast and furious now, so multiple predictions threads will have to be begun at one time.
LA is the most schizophrenic of the groups: apt to choose American Splendor as best picture, or a foreign-language performer, but also often more supportive of Hollywood fare than their compatriots.
LA releases a winner and runner-up, so that's what I'm offering.
