Tee is right. The Golden is an intimate theatre and mezzanine seats are fine.

It's one of the smaller Broadway houses, so you don't have to worry about being stuck in nosebleed territory. But I don't know to what sort of closeness you're accustomed.

Has anyone seen the revival of The Normal Heart yet? I was in that play in college and wanted to check out a professional production. Also was curious about the theater (Golden Theatre @ 252 West 45th Street). Is it worth it to spring for $150 orchestra seats or are the rear mezzanine seats significantly different?
