My mother saw this. She said the leads were extraordinary, the songs are extraordinary... shame about the book.

These are just my predictions, Cam. The nominations will be voted upon Monday and announced Tuesday.

As for hopefuls, I would love to see a sweep by the beautiful and haunting "Grey Gardens" (the only other musical to which its heartbreakingly wistful and sagacious contemplation of memory and the reconciliation of one's former dreams and ultimate reality compares is Follies). It is so much deeper and affecting than the crazily over-praised "Spring Awakening."

And I would love for Michael Cerveris to win Best Actor in a Musical -- his performance as Kurt Weill in the deeply flawed "LoveMusik" is one of the most moving and mesmerizing I've ever seen.

The Tony nods come out Tuesday. Anyone feel like fielding some guesses?
