I didn't like it. The real theme of the show seems to be how Aaron Sorkin has returned to save TV, and the show came off as a piece of smug self-absorption on his part. Sarah Paulson's character is one of the worst written chracters on TV (based on the pilot), and yet Sorkin no doubt thinks he's made her complex.

I'll give it one more episode to improve, and if it doesn't, I'll adjust my DVR to quit recording.

Did anyone catch the first episode of this show?

Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme have done it again. The West Wing it is not but Studio 60 is certainly in the same vein and it should make for a great show if they can keep this quality up. Also beware of a Matt Perry nomination at the Emmys. He's fantastic in this.
