Pakistan's submission in the International Feature Film category.

Joyland - winner of the Queer Palm and the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at Cannes - was finally released in cinemas in Pakistan after initially being banned. However, it still remains banned in two of the country's provinces but is playing in cinemas in Islamabad the Capital and in Karachi, the country's largest city.
