I do two columns, sort by the alphabetizing column, and then use concatenate to combine the two fields again. It seems a lot easier that way.

Yes, it's quite annoying. Microsoft has a quick fix for eliminating the articles a, an, the, so that you don't have to do it manually on long lists but then you wither have the titles without the article so if you want to display them you have to add the article back in after the sort. What they need to do is come up with a way of ignoring the article when sorting without eliminating it.OscarGuy wrote:I assume you copied this form elsewhere? I assume you copied this form elsewhere? I am bugged by how many prominent organizations don't seem to understand that excel spreadsheets do not sort alphabetically. The Prom does not come after Promising Young Woman. The Croods is not alphabetized after Soul and more...
