I think more people know Julie Adams from her numerous appearances as Angela Lansbury's friend on Murder She Wrote from 1987-1993 than from The Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Actress best known for Creature from the Black Lagoon she also appeared in a slew of motion pictures and television from the 1950s onwards:
