I was too busy with school and work, followed by military service during the time The Dick Van Dyke Show was on the air with little time to watch much TV, so I never saw Rose Marie work, but I was aware of her. I vaguely remember seeing her in other things but she never really registered with me.

Surprised no one's already posted this. Maybe another sign of how old I'm getting, that fewer people are familiar with those who were very famous in my youth.

She was an indispensable part of The Dick van Dyke Show, which was to the early/mid-60s what Veep is today: the cool/sophisticated comedy show.

She can also be seen in International House, an all-hands-on-deck Paramount sketch film, which she filmed (as Baby Rose Marie) when she was 9 or 10 years old. The amazing thing, you can already see all the gestures she used when she sang on the Alan Brady Christmas Show episodes of the van Dyke Show.
