However, I do doubt Glenda Jackson is a member, nor has been since she allowed her membership to lapse back in the 1970s. I read an interview with her recently and it's pretty apparent that she has scant interest in Hollywood films. Besides her role in the British Parliament would have given her very little time, if any, to participate in the voting process.

Since the Academy has long denied requests to release the complete list of Academy members, this blog actually took it upon itself to actually list down and chronicle the names of as many Academy members as they could using old press releases, articles, etc. verifying their membership.

They're up to 5,500+ now.
