Barring reversals (some of us still remember Florida 2000), all we're talking about now is the final margin. The MSNBC crew has been broadly hinting that FL is just a matter of time; The Rocky Mountain News -- but no one else -- has called CO for the O-man; there's some obscure service giving him VA; and NC and IN still look quite doable. Throw in the 77 West Coast votes, and you're looking at a serious EV margin...even without MO, MT, NV (which remain possible)

We can exhale.

Gov. Pawlenty from Minnesota is on ABC news pretty much conceding the election of McCain.

CNN called New Mexico for Obama

and Louisiana for McCain

And if CNN calls both of these, we can now say that Obama is the next president of the United States.

CNN just called Ohio as I was writing this.

And of course with 273 by my tally including west coast states, it is over.

Pre-commercial, CNN just said they are going to make a big projection after the break...how silly.

So, Obama getting Ohio is a major win. It seals McCain's case for the White House.

Although CNN hasn't called it, MSNBC apparently has called Ohio for Obama. When/If CNN calls it, then the race is over.
