Yes my mistake. Don't know why I've been writing 2047 when I know it's 2049. Have been doing it a lot lately whenever I mention the film in writing.

It's felt like The Shape of Water is a soft 13-time nominee more in the vein of Benjamin Button than Forrest Gump or Shakespeare In Love, so I'm not liking its chances of a Picture win. Maybe it's just wishful thinking about how the Academy got it right with Moonlight last year, but I want to see an "upset" win for a better movie again.
