You are missing an opportunity to see a great film. The film is an absolute joy!rudeboy wrote:Have never seen Zorba, and it's never exactly been a top priority.

Dr Strangelove. Apart from The Street Where You Live and Wilfrid Hyde-White I really can't stand My Fair Lady, an endless parade of gaudy colour with an unbearable performance from Stanley Holloway and Rex Harrison's non-singing performance a downright embarassing oscar choice next to Sellers' brilliance.
Becket has strong performances by Burton and especially O'Toole but is one of the more plodding of the major 60s historical epics. Poppins is fun but meanders too much. I do love David Tomlinson and Glynis Johns' underrated performances a great deal though.
