I've been catching up the nominated mini-series all week. I'd have given the award to Denis Lawson for Bleak House if only because Jeremy Irons and Hugh Dancy were both so good in Elizabeth I it's hard to cite one over the other. Bodes well, though, for Helen Mirren, again giving the year's best performance (male or female) in a TV movie or mini-series.

Between Irons, Dancy, and Lawson, this was a solid category. Didn't see the other two.
