That's at least better than some of these groups are doing. Spirit, GALECA, etc. They will pick one lead and one supporting actor. Right now, they are cognizant of gender disparity and seem focused on trying to vote both genders evenly (because really, there just aren't that many credible trans actors who could compete in a field stuffed with Hollywood legends), but over time, that will become less of a concern and then we'll finally start seeing an imbalance. I still think it's dumb. I didn't vote for it and I'm stuck with it in GALECA.

I believe LA has opted for unisex awards this year. I think I read it's 2 choices each, for both lead and supporting, but not necessarily of separate gender.
