If this weren't Guadagnino with a strong cast, I wouldn't be putting this in its own thread, but...

Gleiberman is very negative, but a lot of other reviews have been solid. Probably not solid enough to make this an awards movie -- given resistance to the subject matter (even from me), this needed Silence of the Lambs-level raves to get there -- but something of a comeback for the director after Suspiria went splat.
