I wonder if the international influx of voters care about the oscars and if they really vote.

Let’s be honest. It was an off year for Oscar films. Last year, we had Nomadland. The year before, we had Parasite. And before then, an all-time howler in Green Book. Who knows what next year will bring. History has been made: a streamer has won!

Glad that the ratings-hungry Academy got a Best Picture winner that's only available on a streaming service that no one has.
