They nominated both DeBose and Moreno.
Brain blurred from looking at too many lists in one day.

As BJ always said, the Broadcasters don't release nominations -- they release Oscar predictions. The only element of interest in this list is what it reveals about how they see the 2021 zeitgeist. Notable items:

They're all in on Licorice Pizza. Some groups are omitting the film; others are nominating the film and screenplay, but not Anderson for directing or Haim for acting. Not these guys. They've got the film down for editing, as well. They expect the Oscars to go for the film in a big way.

Beyond the mainstays in best picture, they've settled on two "little" efforts -- CODA and tick...tick...Boom! -- and held onto two of the late crashers, Don't Look Up and Nightmare Alley. Any of all of these could be bad bets by the time Oscar nominations roll around.

I'm a bit surprised they limited their acting nominations this year. Sure, they went with 6 each, but, many years, they've gone to 7 or 8, and that would have enabled them to keep alive such faint candidacies as those of Jennifer Hudson or Frances McDormand.

For some reason, they seem especially determined to keep Being the Ricardos afloat -- nominating not just Kidman and Sorkin, but even J.K. Simmons.

The supporting slates are most notable for choosing Moreno over DeBose in the West Side Story group, and failing to resist Jared Leto's bait -- something even the Globes managed.

Apart from that, fully predictable.
