Eliza Scanlan, Toby Wallace and Ben Medelsohn are also good in this episodic tale of a dying girl and those who love her.
What a relief. You just saved me from sitting 2 hours through this. I'd rather spend that time now watching an old Italian film with Alberto Sordi or Vittorio Gassman instead.

Maybe I was bug-eyed at the time and not seeing it, but when I checked IMDb. the other day and there were no U.S. release dates - now they've got both a limited release date of 1/29 (two weeks and a day) and an internet release date of 2/12 for the film that also has 16 British Independent Film Awards nominations.
Really mixed user reviews on IMDb. - not sure it will catch on with Oscar voters but anything is possible.

Best Actress will also match with the exception of Morfydd Clark who will be replaced by either Sophia Loren or Michelle Pfeiffer. Sidney Flanigan, if the Academy wants to follow the critics.
I think Boseman may well get 2 nods this year.
Andra Day in The United States vs. Billie Holliday could be the fifth Best Actress nominee.
Olivia Colman will replace Jenifer Ehle in the ineligible Maud in Supporting Actress.
Saint Maud is being released next week in the U.S. It will be eligible for this year.
