Kubrick? Coppola? Bergman? Altman? Allen? Russell? Fosse? Schlesinger? Lumet?

Damien must be spinning in his grave at the mention of that last one. All these though, including Lumet, produced works that have stood the test of time with Kubick's visions perhaps holding up the best. He gets my vote for the still stunning A Clockwork Orange over his more oft stated masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
