Alliance of Women Film Journalists Nominations
Re: Alliance of Women Film Journalists Nominations
I know. As a straight, white, college-educated American male, believe me, I know what privilege is. I'm just poking fun.

Re: Alliance of Women Film Journalists Nominations
Well yes, that's true. Sort of like how fair-minded people would be appalled at a National Association for the Advancement of White People, or a celebration of a straight pride parade.ksrymy wrote:But, you see, if I made an Alliance of Male Film Journalists, there'd be a shitstorm...
If you're part of the historically and politically dominant group, you don't exactly need your own organization to allow your voice to be heard. There is no need for an Alliance of Male Film Journalists because we already have the New York Film Critics Circle, the LA Film Critics Circle, the National Society of Film Critics, the Boston Society of Film Critics, the goddamn Broadcast Film Critics, etc.

Is this group for real or is this an Onion parody?
