Thank you... I must admit that I really, really wanted to win this one at least once in my life. To be in tune with the brains of the Golden Globes voters is something one has to be proud of, I guess...

I've tabulated the points. (FYI: I didn't consider "Should Win's/My Picks" as runner-up picks) Checked and rechecked it. It was close but the winner of this year's Golden Globe Awards prediction contest, with 30 points is.....

ITALIANO!!!!!!

Sabin was a VERY close second place finish with 29 points.

Mister Tee and FilmFan720 tied for third place with 27.

Big Magilla, Barrybrooks2011 and yours truly are at 24 points.

dws1982 = 21 points.

ksrymy = 18 points

OscarGuy = 17 points

koook160 = 15 points.

It should be noted that ksrymy and koook160 didn't bother to predict the music categories, Foreign Film and Animated Feature. I don't think they intended to join this contest but I counted their entries just the same.

Congrats to ITALIANO!!! Also Sabin for being so close.

Too busy - and happy - watching my Giants kick Green Bay's cheesy asses to make predictions. But FWIW, I'll predict a generous trio of Scorsese for Dir., Artist for Comedy, Descendants for Drama.

Never mind. We will be getting the Globes after all.

I thought it was an hour earlier and panicked that there was no red carpet coverage. I double-checked the schedule. Thanks!

I honestly don't know. I tried to find something, but mostly I think I found a bunch of ad sites and nothing legitimate.

URGENT QUESTION!!!!!!!!

As of now, it doesn't look like my country (or at least my cable service) is gonna carry ANY channel that's gonna air the Globes live. I need a plan B. Do you guys know of any site that livestreams the event, even one with crappy quality?

Thanks a bunch.

Here are my Television predictions.

Best TV Movie or Miniseries - Downton Abbey
Should Win - the absurdly addictive Downton Abbey

Best TV Series: Drama - we know that they sure do love Ryan Murphy, so probably American Horror Story
Should Win - Homeland

Best TV Series: Comedy - Modern Family
Should Win - I have not seen Enlightened, but Enlightened.

Best Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie - who knows? William Hurt, Too Big to Fail
Should Win - only seen Bonneville. He's a fine choice, very subdued, and was very good in Iris.

Best Actor in a TV Series: Drama - this one could really go any way. It's a tossup between Grammer and Lewis. I have a hunch I'll be hearing Kelsey Grammer give a speech tonight.
Should Win - I love how much of a crazy roll Bryan Cranston has been on for Breaking Bad, which has pretty much become the show of my life. I'd rather seen Damian Lewis get the award for Homeland, which is a pretty exceptional show.

Best Actor in a TV Series: Comedy - what a depressing lineup. Matt LeBlanc, Episodes
Should Win - Somewhere between Alec Baldwin and none of the above.

Best Actress in a Miniseries or Made for TV Movie - Kate Winslet, Mildred Pierce
Should Win - only seen part of Mildred Pierce and all of Downton Abbey. I'll pass, although I don't mind seeing Kate Winslet win awards.

Best Actress in a TV Series: Comedy - Zooey Deschanel, New Girl
Should Win - I want Enlightened to keep going, but Amy Poehler keeps getting better and better on Parks and Rec.

Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, Miniseries, or Made for TV Movie - Peter Dinklage, Game of Thrones
Should Win - Nick Offerman, Parks and Recreations gives the best supporting performance on television today.

Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries, or Made for TV Movie - either Jessica Lange or Maggie Smith. I guess Jessica Lange is the most likely.
Should Win - Maggie Smith.

OK. Consider my list below with no runners-up. I'm thinking there are only one or two likely winners in all categories. The contest is apt to result in a tie.
