That Oscar nominee clip certainly doesn't reflect the real nature of the film. It's a dark, disturbing urban drama about bullied foreign kids (and that local vs. foreign refers to Danes vs. Swedes) that is highly (though not genuinely) Dogma-style.

* I saw the film in a flight a month ago.

I have to be honest: this has been my favorite category in the past decade of Oscar watching. I am looking forward to seeing these movies.

Not sure if that qualifies calling her a bitch though.
No offence to Bier, whoever won (as Dogtooth didn't have a chance) was doomed to be insulted.

She said nothing wrong. It was the fact that she won that caused all the namedropping. Many friends and colleagues of Lanthimos and the actors of Dogtooth were present at my Oscar party and the fact that "Dogtooth" lost, caused a stir. No that anybody expected it to win... but still.
