Hmm, and their given track record of winners:

-Slumdog Millionaire
-No Country for Old Men
-Dreamgirls
-Walk the Line
-The Aviator
-Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
-Road to Perdition
-The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

I don't know if that means we can expect The Hurt Locker to win Best Sound Mixing or if that means that it's guaranteed to win Best Picture at this point. For now, I'll call Avatar for Best Sound Mixing, if only because I heard the mix again recently in IMAX surround sound and it was just amazing. If this is the format that voters are seeing it in, then it's a shoe in for Best Sound Mixing.
