Ok, but we got a Golden Globe nomination!
I'm sure that the Israeli movie is better. But in Italy, as always, this makes for front page news and plenty of sorrow and shock (I doubt that in the same situation the French would care at all). We consider the Oscars like something familiar, like a game we MUST play in, maybe because in the past we were often part of it.
