The 56th Grammy Awards
Re: The 56th Grammy Awards
Ugh... I can't stand Daft Punk. Get Lucky is maybe one of their better songs, as it doesn't make my head hurt, but it's still a silly, monotonous song, and I wish it hadn't won anything.

I'm thrilled Daft Punk won Album of the Year...and Taylor Swift won nothing.

Only that I'm totally out of it. I've never heard of most of this stuff. The categories just keep getting sillier and sillier. Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media? Really?anonymous1980 wrote:Any thoughts on these?
While the main categories may have evolved to the point where new artists are welcomed with open arms, the so-called traditional categories keep nominating the same old same olds. Who even knew Dionne Warwick had an album out this year?
Re: The 56th Grammy Awards
I'm floored that Justin Timberlake's massively successful The 20/20 Experience failed to make album of the year.
I see a huge night for Macklemore and Daft Punk.
