Best Cinematography 1935

Post by Big Magilla »

Just three nominees for Best Cinematography, but five for Best Assistant Director and ten for Best Dance Direction, two categories that would justifiably be eliminated after just a few years. A write-in candidate won!

Some other films that might have gotten a few write-in nods included: Mutiny on the Bounty, The 39 Steps, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Informer, David Copperfield, The Lives of a Bengal Lancer, Black Fury, Top Hat.

I voted for the write-in candidate but would my write-in would have been for either The 39 Steps or The Bride of Frankenstein, probably the latter.
