Best Cinematography 1943
Black-and-White
Ten nominees for some pretty impressive work, but nothing for The Ox-Bow Incident (Arthur C. Miller), The More the Merrier (Ted Tatzlaff) or In Which We Serve (Ronald Neame).
Voted for Miller for the Oscar winner, The Song of Bernadette, but would have been just as happy to vote for himr for The Ox-Bow Incident,
Color
A less impressive line-up with the Oscar winning Phantom of the Opera a good choice over For Whom the Bell Tolls, Lassie Come Home and Heaven Can Wait, the only other nominees worth considering.
