R.I.P. Olivia de Havilland

Whether they are behind the camera or in front of it, this is the place to discuss all filmmakers regardless of their role in the filmmaking process.

And of course Norman Lloyd.

My parents have actually been watching this over the past week as well. They recently subscribed to an Amazon channel (Acorn? Britbox, even though it's not British?) that carries it.

Ironically, I was thinking about her as I binge-watched the Australian series, A Place to Call Home (2013-2018), a week ago in which
one of the characters who is named Olivia is portrayed in a manner similar to de Havilland's Melanie in Gone with the Wind, albeit from 1953-New Year's Eve of 1960. The character is still living as the series flash forwards to 2018 where she is standing at the bedside of the series' main character who passes away at 104.

I know we all hoped she would just live forever. What a life.
