R.I.P. Gary Beach

Another one for the more Broadway-focused among us. I saw him in the two big roles he originated -- Lumière in Beauty and the Beast and Roger De Bris in The Producers -- and despite the film adaptation of the latter being a dud, it's nice that he got to have his Tony-winning role preserved for future generations.
The outpouring of grief on my social media among friends who worked with him suggests he was a really good guy, the kind of performer most actors felt lucky to have shared the stage with.
