Except it wasn't a lie to say she died peacefully in her sleep. That was the purpose of taking the pills and alcohol.

Loved her in Sisters. A very cool 70s chick; that she was chosen to play Lois Lane was a sign of the off-beat approach taken with that version of Superman.

Post-Superman, she seemed to get more publicity for her life issues than her acting. But, looking at her IMDB page, it appears she never stopped working: though I don't think I've seen much of anything she was in, she amassed well over 100 credits in the past 4 decades. Godspeed to her.
