Streep or Davis for Best Actress?
IMO we have a strong race between these two. Davis won the SAG but Streep has been awarded withe the Bafta and The Globe among many others. What´s your opinion?

I think that Fonda was awarded for a lifetime achievement career and not specifically for On Golden Pond in which he was correct. Moore was funny and hilarious and Lancaster was great but my vote goes to Beatty who played the best performance of his life.

I agree with most of the posters. It was a race between Busey and Voight. I really liked Coming Home very much. I remember those days when the movie was released it was told that Ashby´s film represented the radical version of Vietnan problem while The Deer Hunter expressed the most conservative one...
